My lovely niece (Seonaid Murray) wants to compete in the Tricityathon. The event is a non-transitionless triathlon, organised by Eurostar in three different cities - Paris for the swim, Brussels for the bike and London for the run.
To be able to compete, Seonaid has to get enough votes to be in the top 50. Then a panel of judges (3 from each city) that includes James Cracknell (Olympic Gold Medal winner) will decide on the final 20.
Please, please, please could you login and vote for my niece. She was in 35th position, but due to web problems they (Eurostar) have extended the voting period. She is now in 43rd position and really could do with your vote.
I personally found the voting system a bit tricky, but if you follow this brief list of instructions you should be ok.
1. Go to http://www.eurostartricityathlon.com/home-page(en).aspx
2. Select ‘Vote’ from the menu bar.
3. To vote you need to create a username. Register to vote by filling in the required details. Date of Birth is required, I’m not sure why they require this information. You do not need to register for e-mails or accept any offers.
4. Select submit and then your are registered to vote. Search for ‘Seonaid’ and cast your vote.
